PME Carcase Competition Results

A fantastic result at this year's Carcase Competition saw G McGregor & Sons, Binn Farm, Glenfarg follow up their win in the Live Classes on Wednesday, to go on to take the Beef Carcase Champion! This is only the second time in the 23 years that the competition has been running, that the same animal has been both Live and Carcase Champion. A huge well done to the McGregors and their stocksman, Chris Higgins. Reserve Champion Carcase went to Fred Murray, East Horton, Wooler.
In the sheep lines, Champion Carcase went to Jim & Wallace Kennedy, Lyonpark, Maybole, and Reserve Champion was from Andrew Morton, Lochend Farm, Denny.
In the Young Livestock Producers Competition, Senior Beef Champion was Wallace Kennedy, Lyonpark; Junior Beef Champion was Reece Simmers, Backmuir Farm, Keith; Senior Lamb Champion was Kenneth O'Connor, Carstairs Mains; and Junior Lamb Champion was Andrew Morton, Lochend Farm, Denny
